Arakawa River in Akabane, Kita City, Tokyo
📍 Akabane Sakuratsutsumi Park, Iwabuchimachi, Kita City, Tokyo 115-0041
North of Akabane, the Shingashi River (the closest, on Tokyo’s side) is a 35-kilometre long river which, together with the Arakawa River (the farthest, on Saitama’s side), create side by side a natural border between Tokyo and Saitama prefecture.
You will be able to take full advantage of the rich flow of the river and the changing landscapes of the surroundings .
This is a walking path that adults and children can easily walk on.
Many people come here to jog, cycle, walk their dog or simply relax reading a book or just take a deep breath admiring the view and enjoying the quietness.
And for entertainment, there is quite often a baseball game.
The best is to bring your lunch box, and let the view work its magic !
